Research synopsis:

Cancer is characterized by altered choice of polyadenylation site at which mRNA is cleaved, leading to production of mRNAs with distinct termination sites. Switch in polyadenylation site usage can result in cancer development, maintenance, and invasiveness. My research focuses on cellular mechanisms that regulate alternative polyadenylation in cancer.
