Research synopsis:
After studying the endocannabinoid system in ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and the role of the CB2 receptor in this disease mainly in the glia, I am now focusing on how the communication between neurons and glia by exosomes can affect to the pathogenesis in ALS and in Alzheimer's disease.
